Value of Information App Webinar Recording
This recorded webinar provides background on the Value of Information (VOI) App and demonstrates how to use the application. The webinar walks through a public example dataset and includes slides and screen sharing to introduce decision analysis, the VOI metric, and the app workflow. The VOI App allows users to model a "drill or walk away" decision using a prior probability of a geothermal resource existing and calculates Prior Value and Value of Perfect Information. It also calculates the value of imperfect information using geophysical and geological observations from known geothermal systems and locations identified as not being geothermal resources ("negative" locations).
