Files include daily mud reports for GLADE East and GLADE West wells in the DJ Basin, Colorado. Reports include daily mud data summaries for each well while drilling. The Mud Reports summarize mud composition and volumes each day throughout the project.
The Geothermal Limitless Approach to Drilling Efficiencies (GLADE) project was undertaken to evaluate whether advanced oil and gas drilling practices could be adapted to improve geothermal well construction in deep, hot, hard-rock environments. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office and executed by Oxy, the project focused on drilling two deep wells, GLADE West and GLADE East, through the sedimentary section and into Precambrian granitic basement.
