GLADE Project: Daily Drilling Reports

Publicly accessible License

Files include daily operational and drilling reports for GLADE East and GLADE West wells in the DJ Basin of Colorado. Reports include drilling summaries for work done and progress made daily for each well. There is a companion Final Drilling Report that summarizes some of the data included in these reports and is included in the GLADE files uploaded to the GDR which is linked in the resources section of this submission.
The Geothermal Limitless Approach to Drilling Efficiencies (GLADE) project was undertaken in the DJ Basin, Colorado to evaluate whether advanced oil and gas drilling practices could be adapted to improve geothermal well construction in deep, hot, hard-rock environments. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office and executed by Oxy, the project focused on drilling two deep wells, GLADE West and GLADE East, through the sedimentary section and into Precambrian granitic basement.

Please note that the included statement regarding information exempt from public disclosure applies to information which has already been redacted from the documents as made available on the GDR.
