Yemen PEC- RES Environmental and Social Sustainability Management System
the PEC Renewable Energy Sector Environmental & Social Sustainability Management System (ESMS), an institutional manual and operational framework for managing environmental and social risks across PEC-RES renewable-energy programs, projects, investments, assets, contractors, suppliers and delivery partners. It covers the full project lifecycle, including concept development, site selection, feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and decommissioning.

It also contains renewable-energy-specific risk profiles for solar PV, wind, battery energy storage systems, transmission/substations, mini-grids, hydropower and hybrid systems.
Operational data structures include project screening forms, risk matrices, instrument-selection criteria, stakeholder-engagement requirements, grievance procedures, incident reporting protocols, contractor requirements and monitoring indicators. The framework is intended to be used together with the associated ESMS Operational Toolkit, which provides project registers, forms, tracking tools and management dashboards.
