Utah FORGE 5-2615: Well 58-32 and 78-32 Poroelastic Properties
This dataset contains laboratory measurements of poroelastic properties of granite samples from Utah FORGE wells 58-32 and 78-32. The data include permeability, grain bulk modulus, drained bulk modulus, Skempton's pore pressure coefficient, and Biot's effective stress coefficient. Tests were conducted between 2021 and February. The Skempton's B tests involved saturation procedures followed by stepwise increases in confining pressure to establish the relationship between B and effective stress. The Biot's coefficient tests determined permeability, grain and drained bulk moduli, and poroelastic coefficients under both argon and water pore fluids. Data are presented in tables summarizing test conditions, stress estimates, and measurement results, along with figures derived from these tables and images of core samples.
