Equitable Energy Investment Prioritization Data Set
This data set compiles metrics related to energy justice, environmental justice, and renewable energy (RE) deployment potential. The metrics, including energy burden, sociodemographic characteristics, environmental hazard exposure, and the technical generation potential and levelized cost of energy for six RE technologies, originated from several previously published data sets: SLOPE, LEAD, REopt, EJSCREEN, and Rural Atlas. The data set can be used to inform disadvantaged communities of their RE potential and to guide investments that prioritize these communities.
