New Zealand Manufacturing Energy Use Survey (2006)
The New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development conducts and publishes a Manufacturing Energy Use Survey (MEUS) to gather information on the types and quantities of energy used by business in the manufacturing sector of New Zealand and their energy management practices. This information is used to inform decision making in the areas of energy use and efficiency. It feeds into sustainable energy policies and programmes being developed in New Zealand. The data includes energy use by manufacturing sector and energy type (coal, natural gas, electricity, wood, diesel, fuel oil, petrol and LPG).
