Projecting California Light-Duty Vehicle Attributes (2019-2035): Appendix B

This data appendix contains supporting tables for the report titled "Projecting California Light-Duty Vehicle Attributes (2019-2035)". These tables contain data for the following projected vehicle attributes: acceleration, fuel economy, MSRP, vehicle range, and the number of vehicle models. Attribute projections for four scenarios are included: Low, Mid, High, and Bookend. Tables are divided into "ZEV" powertrains (BEV, FCEV, and PHEV) and "NonZEV" powertrains (Conventional Diesel, Conventional Gasoline, and Hybrid Gasoline) for each scenario. A dash ('-') indicates that no vehicle makes and models were available for the vehicle class considered.

This data was used to inform light-duty vehicle market analysis done by the California Energy Commission (CEC) for the 2021 Integrated Energy Policy Report (IEPR). Further adjustments and post-processing were done by the CEC, and the results presented in these tables are not necessarily the same as the final values used in the 2021 IEPR.
