This dataset presents summary information related to world nuclear energy. It is part of a supporting dataset for the book World On the Edge: How to Prevent Environmental and Economic Collapse by Lester R. Brown, available from the [Earth Policy Institute](http://www.earth-policy.org/ "Earth Policy website"). This dataset includes the following nuclear energy consumption data: World (1965 - 2009); ten leading countires (2009); U.S. (1965 - 2009); China (1993 - 2009); E.U. (1965 - 2009), as well as World cumulative installed nuclear electricity-generating capacity (1970 - 2010).
