TY - DATA AB - The NorthernSTAR Building America Partnership team implemented an innovative, minimally invasive foundation insulation upgrade technique on an existing home. The approach consisted of using hydrovac excavation technology combined with a liquid insulating foam. Two houses were originally selected for this field study. One was not ready for retrofit at the time of study and had to be eliminated. The collaborative nature of the one field installation, however, enabled the team to advance the methodology as the work progressed. Improvements to the method of installation and reduction of costs were developed on site. This is a repository for all "excavationless" foundation insulation retrofit projects performed by the NorthernSTAR research team.
